MyNCSL Mobile App
A secure mobile application designed for National Contributors Superannuation Limited (NCSL) members, developed by Cloudcode PNG to deliver superannuation services conveniently on mobile devices. The solution is powered by a modern microservices architecture on the backend, enabling high scalability, resilience, and seamless integration with NCSL’s core systems. This design ensures that services such as balance checks, contribution histories, and statement requests are processed reliably in real time, while also making it easy to extend the platform with new features in the future. The app has been fully completed and is prepared for rollout, providing a strong digital foundation for NCSL’s ongoing transformation journey.
MyNCSL Mobile App
The My NCSL mobile app represents a major step forward in how members will access and manage their superannuation services. Developed by Cloudcode PNG, it consolidates key features like balance checks, contribution history, and statements into a single, secure mobile channel. While not yet rolled out, the application is fully developed and ready for launch, providing NCSL with a modern platform to improve efficiency, reduce service delays, and strengthen engagement with its members across Papua New Guinea.

How we Completed

The app was completed through close collaboration with NCSL, using an agile process of stakeholder workshops, prototyping, and incremental development. Continuous testing and quality assurance ensured reliability and performance, while robust security controls were embedded from the outset. With development finalised, the project is positioned for rollout and adoption by members.
The Mission
The mission of the My NCSL app is to empower members with direct, mobile-first access to their superannuation information and services. It aims to simplify how members check balances, view contribution histories, request statements, and manage personal details—all from a single, secure platform that enhances financial awareness and decision-making.
Our Approach
Cloudcode PNG worked closely with NCSL to translate member service needs into user-friendly mobile journeys. We adopted an iterative development process with design sprints, prototyping, and continuous feedback from stakeholders to ensure the app met both business requirements and user expectations. Emphasis was placed on ease of use, performance across devices, and robust security.
Challenges We Addressed
NCSL previously faced challenges in providing members with timely, accessible information outside of physical branches or call centres. We addressed the need for secure identity verification, data privacy, and a consistent member experience across different devices and network conditions. The completed app incorporates strong authentication, encrypted data flows, and a responsive design to meet these challenges.
Architecture & Delivery
The application integrates with NCSL’s back-office systems through secure APIs, providing members with real-time access to account balances, contribution records, and statements. A modular, service-oriented architecture supports scalability and future enhancements. Security was a cornerstone of delivery, with token-based access, encrypted communication, and device-level protections built into the solution. Though development is complete, rollout is planned following internal readiness, testing, and member onboarding strategies.
Final Results
The My NCSL app has been successfully developed and is ready for deployment. It delivers an intuitive and secure experience for members, reduces dependency on call centres, and introduces a digital-first channel for superannuation engagement. Once rolled out, members will benefit from real-time access and self-service features, while NCSL will gain improved efficiency and closer member engagement.
