Launched on 20 August 2021, the National Airports Corporation’s official website (www.nac.com.pg) was designed, developed, and implemented by Cloudcode PNG to serve as a modern, user-friendly digital gateway for the travelling public, business partners, and stakeholders.

The PNG National Airports Corporation Website, launched on 20 August 2021, provides a modern and professional online platform for travellers, partners, and stakeholders. Designed and developed by Cloudcode PNG, the site showcases NAC’s services, announcements, and corporate identity in a clear and accessible way.

By delivering a mobile-friendly, user-focused design supported by easy content management, the website has strengthened NAC’s digital presence and improved communication with the public. It continues to serve as a reliable information hub and a reflection of NAC’s role in managing and operating Papua New Guinea’s airports.

How we Completed

The project was completed by combining stakeholder input with best-practice design principles. Cloudcode PNG carried out workshops, rapid prototyping, and user testing to refine the site structure and content flow.

Following implementation, we delivered training and handover sessions to NAC staff to ensure smooth adoption and long-term sustainability of the platform.

The Mission
The mission of the NAC Website project was to create a professional, reliable, and accessible online presence for the National Airports Corporation. The platform was envisioned as a central hub for information, updates, and services related to airport operations across Papua New Guinea, strengthening engagement with travellers, stakeholders, and partners.
Our Approach
Cloudcode PNG collaborated with NAC’s leadership and communications team to identify key priorities — ease of navigation, mobile responsiveness, accessibility, and a modern look that reflects PNG’s aviation identity. Through iterative design workshops and prototyping, we developed a site structure that placed important information such as flight updates, corporate news, and service details within easy reach of users. Content management tools were also tailored to empower NAC staff to publish updates quickly and consistently.
Challenges We Addressed
Prior to this project, NAC’s online presence was limited, and critical information for travellers and stakeholders was not always easy to access. We addressed challenges such as fragmented content, lack of mobile optimization, and the need for a professional corporate image. The new website provides a streamlined, responsive experience that ensures visitors can easily find flight information, announcements, and services, whether on desktop or mobile devices.
Architecture & Delivery
The website was delivered with a focus on scalability, security, and ease of maintenance. It includes a clear navigation structure, multimedia integration for news and announcements, and custom templates designed to highlight NAC’s corporate brand. The delivery also included training for NAC staff, enabling them to manage content independently and keep the site up to date with minimal technical overhead.
Final Results
The final website provides NAC with a dynamic, reliable, and modern digital presence. Travellers and stakeholders can now access timely information, while NAC benefits from a platform that communicates its corporate vision and operations more effectively. Since its launch, the website has enhanced NAC’s visibility, improved user experience, and established a strong online foundation for future digital initiatives.
